Project Description

Pump Station No. 495 Upgrades consisted of the engineering design, regulatory permitting and construction support services for the implementation of duplex submersible pumping system upgrades, existing wet well and valve vault rehabilitation, and associated discharge force main improvements for compliance with meeting a Nominal Average Pump Operating Time (NAPOT) of less than or equal to 10 hours per day. This sewage pump station improvement project was one of the first two projects to be successfully permitted and delivered for construction to MDWASD's Pump Station Improvements Program/PSIP. MDWASD Sewage Pump Station No. 1068 and Discharge Force Main Upgrades consisted of the engineering design, regulatory permitting and construction support services for the implementation of duplex submersible pumping system upgrades, wet well & valve vault replacement, and re-routing of new force mains to eliminate re-pumping of wastewater and for compliance with meeting a NAPOT of less than or equal to 10 hours per day. MDWASD Sewage Pump Station No. 399 Upgrades consisted of the engineering design, regulatory permitting and construction support services for the implementation of triplex submersible pumping system upgrades, existing wet well and valve vault rehabilitation, and associated relocation of the existing auxiliary power generator for compliance with meeting a Nominal Average Pump Operating Time (NAPOT) of less than or equal to 10 hours per day. This sewage pump station improvement project was one of the first two projects to be successfully permitted and delivered for construction to MDWASD's Pump Station Improvements Program/PSIP.
