Project Description

MDWASD Engineering Services for Proposed Upgrades to the Miami-Dade South District Wastewater Treatment Plant (SDWWTP) and its Appurtenant Facilities consists of engineering services to provide focused upgrades and renovations for Renewal and Replacement (R&R) projects for the plant's existing wastewater pumping treatment and disposal facilities. including the evaluation of existing equipment condition, capacity and useful life expectancy. The projects range from the evaluation of existing equipment condition, capacity and useful life expectancy, preparation of a prioritized rehabilitation or replacement schedule and related design services that include preliminary site investigations, hydraulic modeling and analysis, coordination with other utilities, preparation of design reports and, preparation of drawings, and contract specifications.
