Project Description

Corradino was retained by the Genesee County, Michigan, Chamber of Commerce, to assist the Chamber promote two former automobile-related manufacturing sites—Buick City and Delphi East. The study was comprised of three major work activities. First, an evaluation of the Genesee County market in terms of freight flows (existing and forecast), local economic trends and targeted-growth opportunities, and measures of competitiveness. The second activity involved evaluating infrastructure needs that affect the region's ability to attract private-sector freight and logistics operations. In the third task, Corradino provided assistance to the Chamber on how to market these sites. Corradino produced a video of the future conditions of the two sites.
