Ms. Cruz brings over 20 years of experience in government relations, public relations, marketing, classroom instruction and creative and technical writing for bids and proposals to her role as Community Outreach Manager for Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast. She has established and continues to maintain beneficial and proactive relationships with the news media and public at-large as a Community Outreach Specialist (COS) for 200+ road and bridge construction projects throughout her tenure in Palm Beach County. For over 14 years she has served as a Project Spokesperson for the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) District 4 Operations Center in Palm Beach County. Prior to her current role as resident COS for FDOT Palm Beach construction, she was COS on the $500 million I-95 Mobility 2000 Projects through the heart of Palm Beach County. During this time, she earned a Community Recognition Award from the City of West Palm Beach for her close coordination with the historic communities bordering I-95. Furthermore, during her graduate studies at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, she was an undergraduate Public Speaking Instructor for two (2) years, teaching a total of eight (8) undergraduate courses. This experience, combined with her previous role as a media training executive in Washington, D.C., provided the outline for Corradino’s own Public Speaking & Media Training Course.
