Kathleen Dempsey

Kathleen has worked in a customer service-based environment for the past 10+ years, which attributes to her excellent listening skills and attention to detail. Her experience in event planning allows her to work in fast-paced settings, where prompt and accurate problem solving delivery of results is crucial. Currently, Ms. Dempsey is the project spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) construction projects in the Treasure Coast, covering Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties. From 2011 to 2013, she served as the Community Outreach Specialist for the $150 million I-95 expansion corridor in the Treasure Coast in which three adjoining projects spanned a total of 19.5 miles, from northern St. Lucie County to Indian River County. As result of her public outreach efforts on the I-95 expansion corridor, she received an “Outstanding Service Award” from the FDOT District 4 Traffic Incident Management Team. Ms. Dempsey has also volunteered for a charitable organization in Palm Beach County comprised of 750+ other volunteers, coordinating social media campaigns, press releases and advertising for small events and large fundraisers.
